I never expected to find a second career I loved as much as my first, but social media marketing surprised me.
I now have 15 years’ experience managing brand accounts, along with a Distinction in Digital Media Marketing. I genuinely love a new project, especially the strategy and planning stage, but what really matters to me is the long-term connection. I’ve grown and supported some accounts consistently for over fifteen years, and that relationship side of the work never gets old.
Before marketing, I spent 10 years as a radiographer in the NHS, working with people undergoing cancer treatment. Those years shaped how I work today. Skills like care, clear communication, teamwork, and attention to detail are second nature, and they’re what set me apart from many other marketing professionals.
I care deeply about getting the right tone of voice for your brand and making sure the work we do delivers real results.
Away from my desk, you’ll usually find me walking my dog and discovering new paths on OS maps, or ferrying my two teenage boys to clubs most evenings. As a family, we love being on the water, surfing, paddleboarding, canoeing, anything that involves fresh air and a bit of adventure.
Helping brands communicate clearly and confidently online has been the focus of my work for over eight years as a social media manager. Backed by a further seven years’ experience in sales and marketing, I bring both creativity and commercial awareness to every client I work with.
I graduated from the University of East Anglia with a Law degree and went on to complete a Graduate Management Training Scheme in retail, working with well-known brands including Hobbs and FatFace. This early experience shaped my approach to brand positioning, customer engagement and results-driven marketing.
After taking a career break to start a family and spending several years living abroad, I worked for a charitable organisation supporting Army families’ an experience that strengthened my people-first approach and reinforced the value of clear, compassionate communication.
Social media is where strategy and creativity meet for me. I love the variety of the work and the opportunity to tailor content to each client, using a personal touch to help brands connect authentically and make the most of their platforms.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me practising yoga, hiking, travelling, or planning the next adventure with my family; time away that fuels creativity and fresh ideas.
